This restaurant captured my attention because it is just across Fitness First in SM Megamall. It also had advertisements hanging inside and outside the mall. Tenya, obviously, is a Japanese restaurant that specializes in Japanese cuisine and prides itself with its tempura. Since I generally like tempura, I decided to give it a shot one random night after working out.
All-star Tendon (Php 325.00) – black tiger prawn, squid, salmon, kani stick, green beans, mushroom. This dish was about putting together different kinds of tempura in a single rice bowl. The best picks for me were the black tiger prawn and squid. They were just perfectly cooked and seasoned.
Now that I know that they serve these pieces well, I might as well drop the kani stick, salmon, and mushroom then get Asakusa Special Tendon (Php 315.00) on my next visit. This dish has three pieces of black tiger prawns and some green beans. Just exactly what I want on my rice bowl.
